Steven "The Zap" Turner, (born on 10 October 1984) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer. Turner played his club football in the National Rugby League for the Penrith Panthers, Melbourne Storm and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. Turner played one game for New South Wales in the State of Origin. He primarily played as a . Early life Growing up in Erskine Park, New South Wales, Turner was educated at James Erskine Primary School & St Dominic's College, Penrith. Turner played junior rugby league with Cambridge Park RLFC and St Clair Comets. Turner then went to Cambridge Park and played fullback there for several years before making it to first grade. Steven "Afterburner" Turner (born January 18, 1987 in Brampton, Ontario) is a professional Canadian football running back and slotback who is currently a free agent. He was drafted 30th overall by the Toronto Argonauts in the 2010 CFL Draft. He played college football for the Bishop's Gaiters. Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM), formerly Turner Motorsports was an American professional stock car racing team that last competed in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, the Nationwide Series, the Camping World Truck Series, the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and the ARCA Racing Series. Steve Turner is a former computer game musician and designer. His development team, Graftgold, mostly wrote for games published by Hewson Consultants during the 1980s. The first computer he bought was a ZX80 which had to be assembled by hand. At school he was a member of a computing club where he learnt the Algol 60 programming language. During the 1970s he added Cobol to his repertoire from a government funded training course. He went on to a programming job in the Civil Service. Turner was 30 when he decided to move into games development. His first game was written whilst he was still employed as a programmer and he handed his notice in when he received his first royalty cheque. Steven Neil Turner (born March 28, 1965) is an American guitarist, most famous for his work with Seattle band Mudhoney. Early life Turner was born in 1965 in Houston, Texas, but moved with his family to Seattle when he was two. Career His first band was called The Ducky Boys. The lineup included future Pearl Jam member Stone Gossard. The Ducky Boys split around 1983. Turner later joined Mark Arm in Mr. Epp and the Calculations, which Arm described as "The worst band in the world". Mr. Epp played their final show with Turner in 1984. Born in Mile End, Turner became a journalist with the ''Ilford Recorder'' and the '' Romford Times'', then left to run his own freelance journalism agency. This was a success, and he frequently contributed to ''The Observer'' and ''The World at One''. After a few years, he became a subeditor for the '' Daily Mail'', then moved to the same post at the ''Daily Mirror'', before becoming editor of its readers' letters page.
