	Steve Riley (drummer) Steve Riley (born January 22, 1956) is an American rock drummer, best known for his work with Keel, W.A.S.P., and L.A. Guns. Career After graduating high school in the 70s, Riley moved to Los Angeles to pursue a music career. In 1979, he joined a revival of Steppenwolf, but the lineup broke up later that year. Riley joined up-and-coming L.A. band Keel and recorded their breakthrough album ''The Right to Rock'' with them in 1984. Later that year, Riley departed Keel to replace founding member Tony Richards in W.A.S.P., another L.A. band whose debut album had recently achieved gold status in sales. As a member of W.A.S.P., Riley performed on the albums '' The Last Command'', ''Inside the Electric Circus'', and '' Live...In the Raw''. Vocalist Ron Keel has described Riley as "driven to succeed and to play". 	Steve Riley (American Football) Steven Bruce Riley (November 23, 1952 – September 16, 2021) was an American professional football player who was an offensive tackle for 11 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). High school career Riley went to Castle Park High School in Chula Vista, California where he was a standout athlete on both the high school varsity basketball and football teams. Castle Park High School fielded very strong football teams. In his senior year, he was one of the co-captains and helped his team win the San Diego CIF championship. He also made first-team all-CIF and was voted offensive lineman of the year in his conference. College career Riley was recruited by Notre Dame, Colorado, New Mexico State, and San Diego State, among others. He played college football at the University of Southern California from 1970 to 1974. 	Steve Riley And The Mamou Playboys Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys are an American Cajun band from southern Louisiana. The band formed in 1988 and has since recorded 10 albums, nine of which are on Rounder Records. The band includes Steve Riley (accordion, b. 1969), David Greely (fiddle), Sam Broussard (guitar), Brazos Huval (fiddle/saxophone/ bass) and Kevin Dugas (drums) and formerly Jimmy Domengeaux (guitar) before his death in 1999. Kevin Wimmer (fiddle) joined the band in 2011. Riley is a native of Mamou, Louisiana and a cousin of the noted Cajun musician and accordion builder Marc Savoy.
