Steve Pilgrim (musician)
Steven Michael "Steve" Pilgrim (born 1979 in Liverpool) is an English drummer and singer-songwriter. He was originally the drummer for The Stands (2003–2004) playing on both the band's albums however he left before the band eventually split up. Following his departure, Pilgrim has established a career as a singer-songwriter, releasing four solo albums to date: ''Lover, Love Her'' (2007), ''Sunshine'' (2009), ''Pixels and Paper'' (2011) and ''Morning Skies'' (2017). He has also drummed for several artists including John Power and Paul Weller. Biography Pilgrim joined The Stands as drummer in 2003 and played with the band for one year. The band were part of Liverpool's Bandwagon scene in the early 2000s and Noel Gallagher was an early fan of The Stands. The Rainband
The Rainband were a five-piece indie rock band from Manchester, England founded in 2010 by lead singer Martin Finnigan and guitarist Phil Rainey – who made his name with Peter Hook’s cult combo Monaco (band). Finnigan and Rainey were joined by drummer Steve Irlam (replaced by James Cowell in 2015) and bassist Paul Daggatt later that year. In 2012 Paul Daggatt left and was replaced by Joe Wilson, who then moved onto guitar while his brother Sam Wilson took on bass. Villagers are an Irish indie folk band and the musical project of the sole long-term member, Conor J O'Brien who is a singer-songwriter based in Dublin, Ireland.. Widely known for his production, arrangements and thought-provoking lyrics, O'Brien currently releases Villagers material via Domino Recording Co. The Moons
The Moons are an England, English indie rock band formed in Northampton 2008 by singer/guitarist/songwriter Andy Crofts. The Moons have released four studio albums; "Pocket Melodies" (2020) on Colorama Records, "Mindwaves" (2014) and "Fables of History" (2012) on Schnitzel Records Ltd and the debut "Life On Earth" on Acid Jazz Records in 2010. ''As Is Now'' is Paul Weller's eighth studio album. Released in October 2005, it reached 4 in the UK charts. The singles from the record were "From The Floorboards Up" (charted at No. 6), "Come On/Let's Go" (charted at No. 15), "Here's The Good News" (charted at No. 21) and the four track "The As Is Now EP" (which included "Blink And You'll Miss It") which did not qualify for the charts and was only released on 7-inch.
