Steve McDonald (born 9 September 1950) is a New Zealand composer, singer, and instrumentalist who performs in the Celtic fusion musical style. He performed in rock bands Timberjack (band), Timberjack, Dizzy Limits, and The Human Instinct, Human Instinct before embarking on a solo career. He has composed musical scores for television shows and documentaries. Beginning in the early 1990s, McDonald has explored his Scotland, Scottish heritage through a series of Celtic music, Celtic recordings. He is published on the Etherean Music music label. Steve McDonald is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street'', played by Simon Gregson. The character first appeared on-screen during the episode airing on 6 December 1989. He arrived as part of the McDonald family introduced by producer Mervyn Watson along with his twin brother Andy ( Nicholas Cochrane) and parents Liz ( Beverley Callard) and Jim McDonald ( Charles Lawson). Steve Macdonald is an American filk singer/songwriter, who also appears at Renaissance Faires as "Gallamor the Bard". He served for several years as the Pegasus Award Evangelista, and was responsible for many changes in the award process that led to much greater participation among the voting base. He was inducted into the Filk Hall of Fame in 2006. In September 2006 he emigrated to Germany. WorlDream WorlDream was a project that organized hundreds of filkers in North America and Europe to sing one song together, in celebration of the new millennium. Steve Macdonald, the project's instigator, attended ten conventions during 2001, and recorded filkers singing "Many Hearts, One Voice", a song he composed for the project. Steven MacDonald (born October 13, 1970) is a Canadian soccer defender who spent his entire professional career with the Vancouver 86ers. He played extensively for the Canadian national teams between 1987 and 1995. Club career MacDonald began playing for the Douglas Park Spartans when he was seven. In 1987, he began his professional career with the Vancouver 86ers of the Canadian Soccer League. From 1988 to 1991, MacDonald and his teammates won four consecutive CSL championships. From June 5, 1988 to August 8, 1989, the team remained undefeated in 46 games (37 wins and nine ties). This set the North American professional record. Stephen MacDonald (5 May 1933 – 12 August 2009) was a British actor, director and dramatist. MacDonald was brought up and educated in Birmingham, where he trained as an actor, but subsequently worked extensively in Scotland as a theatre director.
