Steve Lowery
Stephen Brent Lowery (born October 12, 1960) is an American professional golfer. Lowery was born in Birmingham, Alabama. He has PGA Tour victories in 1994, 2000 and 2008. All three of his victories on the PGA Tour have come in playoffs. Lowery has been featured in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking. His best season on the PGA Tour was in 1994, when he finished 12th on the money list. He missed most of 2007 with a wrist injury. The PGA Tour granted him a partial exemption for the 2008 season. He needed to win more than $250,000 during his first eight starts in 2008 in order to re-gain his full exemption on the PGA Tour, but that became a moot point when he won the 2008 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. The victory gave him a full two-year exemption. Lowery also won the Birmingham Golf Association Junior and State Junior in the late 1970s, before embarking on his four years of college at the University of Alabama. Sprint International (golf)
The International (styled as The INTERNATIONAL) was a professional golf tournament in Colorado on the PGA Tour. It was played for 21 seasons, from 1986 through 2006, at the Castle Pines Golf Club at Castle Pines Village in Castle Rock, south of Denver. It had the distinction of being one of two PGA Tour events not conducted at traditional stroke play, the only other exception is the match-play event, the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship. The International was the only tournament to use the Modified Stableford scoring system, enacted because of the significant elevation of the venue, which averages above sea level. The Players Championship
The Players Championship (commonly known as simply The Players, stylized by the PGA Tour as The PLAYERS Championship) is an annual golf tournament on the PGA Tour. Originally known as the Tournament Players Championship, it began in 1974. The Players Championship at one point offered the highest purse of any tournament in golf ($20 million). The field usually includes the top 50 players in the world rankings, but unlike the major championships and World Golf Championships events, it is owned by the PGA Tour and not an official event on other tours. The PGA Championship (often referred to as the US PGA Championship or USPGA outside the United States) is an annual golf tournament conducted by the Professional Golfers' Association of America. It is one of the four men's major championships in professional golf. The Open Championship, often referred to as The Open or the British Open, is the oldest golf tournament in the world, and one of the most prestigious. Masters Tournament
The Masters Tournament (usually referred to as simply The Masters, or the U.S. Masters outside North America) is one of the four major championships in professional golf. Scheduled for the first full week of April, the Masters is the first major of the year, and unlike the others, it is always held at the same location, Augusta National Golf Club, a private course in the city of Augusta, Georgia, in the southeastern United States. Jeff Coston
Jeff Coston (born October 15, 1955) is an American professional golfer. Biography Coston cites watching Jack Nicklaus tee off in the 1965 Greater Seattle Open Invitational at Inglewood Country Club as the moment he realized he wanted to dedicate his life to golf. He joined the PGA Tour in 1985. That year at the Buick Invitational Championship, a 14-year-old Phil Mickelson carried the scoreboard for the playing threesome of Coston, Steve Pate and Chris Perry. Coston played on the PGA Tour in 1985 and 1988. His best finish was a tied for seventh at the 1988 Anheuser-Busch Golf Classic. From 1991 to 1994, he played on the Ben Hogan/Nike Tour (now Nationwide Tour), winning once, at the 1991 Ben Hogan Shreveport Open. Vijay Singh ( hif, विजय सिंह ; born 22 February 1963), nicknamed "The Big Fijian", is a Fijian professional golfer.
