Steve Liebmann
Steve Liebmann (born 4 May 1944) is an Australian retired television presenter, journalist and radio broadcaster. Liebmann is best known for co-hosting ''Today'' on the Nine Network between 1982 and 1986, and again from 1990 to 2005. Early life and career Born in Cooma, New South Wales, he attended Monaro High School. He became a journalist in Cooma on Radio 2XL while still in high school. He hosted "Teen Scene" from 5:30 pm to 6:00pm on week days, playing the latest records. His sign-off at the end of the show was "Yip yip yehodie, you're a little beauty". Liebmann relocated to Canberra in 1962 and worked at radio 2CA, before moving to Sydney in 1967 to take up a position with Seven Network's Sydney bureau as news editor and on-air presenter. The following year, he became a senior journalist at Radio 2UE, and presented an afternoon news and public affairs program on the station which became the top show in its timeslot. Order Of Australia
The Order of Australia is an honour that recognises Australian citizens and other persons for outstanding achievement and service. It was established on 14 February 1975 by Elizabeth II, Queen of Australia, on the advice of the Australian Government. Before the establishment of the order, Australian citizens received British honours. ''Nine News'' (stylised ''9News'') is the national news service of the Nine Network in Australia. Its flagship program is the hour-long 6:00 pm state bulletin, produced by Nine's owned-and-operated stations in TCN, Sydney, GTV (Australia), Melbourne, QTQ, Brisbane, NWS (TV station), Adelaide, STW, Perth and NTD (Australian TV station), Darwin. Bill Woods
William Woods (born 1962 in Moruya, New South Wales) is an Australian television journalist, radio and television broadcaster, and author. He is best known as the presenter, alongside Sandra Sully, of Network Ten's '' Ten News at Five'' in Sydney (a role which he left in November 2012) and '' Sports Tonight.'' He co-hosted '' Bill & Boz'' on Fox Sports News. Early career In 1982, Woods graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Writing at Canberra College of Advanced Education (now University of Canberra) and in early 1983, began another three-month course in Commercial Radio Broadcasting at the Australian Film and Television School. Tracey Spicer
Tracey Leigh Spicer is an Australian newsreader, Walkley Award-winning journalist and social justice advocate. She is known for her association with Network Ten as a newsreader in the 1990s and 2000s when she co-hosted ''Ten Eyewitness News'' in Brisbane, Queensland. George Edward Negus AM (born 13 March 1942) is an Australian journalist, author, television and radio presenter specialising in international affairs. He was a pioneer of Australian TV journalism, first appearing on the ABC’s groundbreaking This Day Tonight and later on Sixty Minutes. Negus was known for making complex international and political issues accessible to a broad audience through his down-to-earth, colloquial presentation style. His very direct interviewing technique occasionally caused confrontation, famously with Margaret Thatcher, but also led to some interviewees giving more information than they had given in other interviews. Steve Price (broadcaster)
Steven William Price (born 13 January 1955) is an Australian radio broadcaster and opinion columnist. He appears regularly on '' The Project.'' In 2022, Price announced his contract with Triple M was not renewed. Price worked at Macquarie Media broadcasting on 2GB, 4BC and 3AW. Previously, he was the program director and breakfast presenter at MTR 1377. He formerly worked for Fairfax Media, presenting the morning shift between 9 am and 12 noon on 2UE. He has been in journalism for over 30 years, firstly with News Limited, and also at 3AW. Career After hosting drive on 3AW since 1987, Price moved to mornings with 2UE in 2002.
