Steve Jackson (running Back)
Steven Rashad Jackson (born July 22, 1983) is an American former football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons, primarily with the St. Louis Rams. He played college football at Oregon State and was selected in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Rams, where he spent his first nine seasons. In his final three seasons, he was a member of the Atlanta Falcons from 2013 to 2014 and the New England Patriots in 2015. Named to three Pro Bowls and two All-Pro teams during his Rams tenure, Jackson is the franchise's all-time leading rusher. Early years Jackson was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and was a running back for Eldorado High School. Steve Jackson (mathematician)
Steve Jackson (full name: Stephen Craig Jackson) is an American set theorist at the University of North Texas. Much of his most notable work has involved the descriptive set-theoretic consequences of the axiom of determinacy. In particular he is known for having calculated the values of all the projective ordinals (the suprema of the lengths of all prewellorderings of the real numbers at a particular level in the projective hierarchy) under the assumption that the axiom of determinacy holds. In recent years he has also made contributions to the theory of Borel equivalence relations. With Dan Mauldin he solved the Steinhaus lattice problem. Jackson earned his PhD in 1983 at UCLA under the direction of Donald A. Martin, with a dissertation on ''A Calculation of'' δ15. Steve Jackson (born 20 May 1951) is a British game designer, writer, game reviewer and co-founder of UK game publisher Games Workshop. History Steve Jackson began his career in games in 1974 as a freelance journalist with ''Games & Puzzles'' magazine. In early 1975, Jackson co-founded the company Games Workshop with school friends John Peake and Ian Livingstone. They started publishing a monthly newsletter, ''Owl and Weasel'', which was largely written by Jackson, and sent copies of the first issue to subscribers of ''Albion'' fanzine; Brian Blume, co-partner of American publisher TSR, received one of these copies and in return sent back a copy of TSR's new game ''Dungeons & Dragons''. Steve Jackson (born c. 1953) is an American game designer whose creations include the role-playing game ''GURPS'' and the card game ''Munchkin''. Education Steve Jackson is a 1974 graduate of Rice University, where he was a resident of Baker College before moving to Sid Richardson College when it opened in 1971. Jackson briefly attended the UT Law School, but left to pursue a career in game design. Career 1970s: Metagaming Concepts While working at Metagaming Concepts, Jackson developed ''Monsters! Stephen Jackson (born 16 January 1969) is a Scottish musician and songwriter. He plays lead guitar and sings in the Glasgow-based indie band Belle and Sebastian. Career Jackson's early musical influences include Madness, ABBA, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), Depeche Mode and ABC, with his first album purchase being The Police's ''Reggatta de Blanc'' (1979). Prior to joining Belle & Sebastian, he was a member of the Moondials, a band that released a single on Electric Honey, a label that would later issue Belle & Sebastian's first album, ''Tigermilk''. The Moondials experience was a pleasant one for Jackson, and it took a great deal of work for nominal Belle & Sebastian frontman Stuart Murdoch to convince him to join his group. Steve Jackson (born 22 October 1965) is an Australian former rugby league footballer. He played in the New South Wales Rugby League premiership for the Canberra Raiders, Western Suburbs Magpies and Gold Coast Seagulls. Playing career Hailing from Mackay, Jackson began playing rugby league when he was 5. Jackson made his first grade debut with Magpies Mackay before joining the Raiders in 1987. He played three years with the Raiders, making only 16 appearances, almost entirely from the bench. Jackson is best remembered for coming from the bench to score the "iconic" try in the 1989 Grand Final. Jackson carried opposition players across on the tryline to win the match in overtime. Steve Jackson (born 1969 Arbroath, Scotland) is a Scottish thriller writer. Jackson spent his early childhood living in the town of Carnoustie. At the age of eleven he moved to Stroud in Gloucestershire, England. He now lives in St. Albans, Hertfordshire. On leaving school, Jackson went into journalism. He worked first for the Marlborough Times, and then for the Stroud News & Journal. The Nineties saw a radical change of direction. Steve Jackson (born 22 March 1973) is a New Zealand professional rugby union coach, who during his playing career played lock across multiple teams in the New Zealand Provincial Championship. He formerly worked as the head coach of the Samoan National rugby team from 2018 to 2020. He attended High School at Waitākere College.
