Steve J. Langdon
Steve J. Langdon (born 1948) is an American anthropologist noted for his work with the Tlingit people of southeastern Alaska. He received his Ph.D. in anthropology from Stanford University in 1977. He has taught anthropology at the University of Alaska Anchorage since 1976. The ''Anchorage Daily News'' is a daily newspaper published by the Binkley Co., and based in Anchorage, Alaska. It is the most widely read newspaper and news website (adn.com) in the state of Alaska. The newspaper is headquartered in Anchorage, with bureaus in Wasilla and Juneau. New Orleans Pelicans
The New Orleans Pelicans are an American professional basketball team based in New Orleans. The Pelicans compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league's Western Conference Southwest Division and play their home games at the Smoothie King Center. Since 2014, the NBA officially considers New Orleans as an expansion team that began play in the 2002–03 season. The Pelicans were established as the New Orleans Hornets in the when George Shinn, then owner of the Charlotte Hornets, relocated the franchise to New Orleans. Trajan Shaka Langdon (born May 13, 1976) is an American basketball executive and former professional player. He is the current general manager of the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). A and shooting guard, he first gained fame in the U.S. while playing college basketball at Duke Blue Devils men's basketball, Duke University. Following a three-year NBA stint, Langdon had a very successful career in Europe.
