Steve Hérélius
Steve Hérélius (born 15 July 1976) is a French former professional boxer who competed from 2002 to 2013 and held the WBA interim cruiserweight title from 2010 to 2011. Professional career Nicknamed Centurion, Herelius turned pro in 2002 and after winning his first fourteen fights fought veteran heavyweight Albert Sosnowski in 2007 and lost via TKO. After fighting mainly journeyman opposition he positioned himself to challenge Firat Arslan for the vacant WBA interim Cruiserweight belt. Arslan was coming into the bout after an extended absence, and was unable to continue after taking a hard uppercut from Herelius at the end of the 11th round. The Landers Center is an 8,400-seat multi-purpose arena in Southaven, Mississippi. Motherwell ( sco, Mitherwall, gd, Tobar na Màthar) is a town and former burgh in North Lanarkshire, Scotland, United Kingdom, south east of Glasgow. It has a population of around 32,120. Motherwell Civic Centre is a municipal building in Windmillhill Street in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, Scotland. The building, which is the headquarters of North Lanarkshire Council, is a Category B listed building. History The facility was commissioned to replace the ageing Motherwell Town Hall in Hamilton Road. After a period of rapid population expansion associated with the growth of the Ravenscraig steelworks, civic leaders decided to procure a purpose-built civic centre: the site selected at the corner of Airbles Road and Windmillhill Street had previously been occupied by residential properties with a public house on the corner itself. Interim Title
An interim championship is an alternate title that is awarded by the sanctioning bodies of professional boxing, and in other combat sports such as kickboxing, professional wrestling, and mixed martial arts. Occasionally, the champion of a particular weight division is temporarily unable to defend his championship because of medical, legal, or other reasons beyond the competitor's control. When this case occurs, two highly ranked contenders may fight for an interim championship of the same weight division – leading to two champions existing in the same weight division simultaneously.
