Steve Henson
Steven Michael Henson (born February 2, 1968) is an American former professional basketball player, who was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round (44th pick overall) of the 1990 NBA draft. He was an assistant basketball coach at the University of Oklahoma under his former college coach Lon Kruger. On April 1, 2016, Henson was hired as the head coach at the University of Texas at San Antonio and assumed his new position after the Sooners' exit from the NCAA tournament the following day. College career Henson played collegiately at Kansas State University, where he was named to the All- Big Eight Conference first team in 1989. He is Kansas State's all-time leader in assists, and remains in the top ten on the all-time NCAA career free throw percentage list, with a .900 mark. In basketball, a rebound, sometimes colloquially referred to as a board, is a statistic awarded to a player who retrieves the ball after a missed field goal or free throw. In basketball, an assist is attributed to a player who passes the ball to a teammate in a way that leads directly to a score by field goal, meaning that they were "assisting" in the basket. Conference USA
Conference USA (C-USA or CUSA) is an intercollegiate athletic conference whose current member institutions are located within the Southern United States. The conference participates in the NCAA's Division I in all sports. C-USA's offices are located in Dallas, Texas. History C-USA was founded in 1995 by the merger of the Metro Conference and Great Midwest Conference, two Division I conferences that did not sponsor football. However, the merger did not include either Great Midwest member Dayton or Metro members VCU and Virginia Tech. The Big Eight Conference was a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)-affiliated Division I-A college athletic association that sponsored football. The UTSA Roadrunners men's basketball team represents the University of Texas at San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas, US.
