Steve Grant (basketball)
Stephen Mitchell Grant (born December 23, 1969) is a former American football linebacker for the West Virginia Mountaineers and Indianapolis Colts in the National Football League (NFL). As of 2019, Grant is the chaplain for the Texas Tech University football program in Lubbock, Texas. Professional career Grant was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the 1992 NFL draft. Grant was the Colts' Hard Nose Player of the Year in 1994, when he recorded a fumble recovery. In 1995, Grant started "Started" is a song recorded by Australian rapper Iggy Azalea for her second studio album ''In My Defense''. The song was written by Azalea alongside Ronny Wright and produced by American record producer J. White Did It. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. The 1992 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 26–27, 1992, at the Marriott Marquis in New York City, New York. The league also held a supplemental draft after the regular draft and before the regular season. The West Virginia Mountaineers are the athletic teams that represent West Virginia University, an American university located in Morgantown, West Virginia.
