Steve Gaisford is a British news presenter working primarily for ITV News and on occasions Al Jazeera English. In September 2009 Gaisford launched new company Chloros which focuses on using well known faces as online web presenters. Broadcasting career Gaisford's on-screen career began when he became Five (channel), Five's first weekend sports presenter before moving on to work for GMTV and ITV Network, ITV's ''London Tonight'' programme. Gaisford worked for nine years at Sky News, and is best known for anchoring the weekend Sky News Sunrise programme with Emma Crosby from October 2005 through to his departure from the channel in April 2007. He presented news and sports programmes for the British Sky Broadcasting, Sky network initially appearing in 1998 on Sky Sports News. The 2004 Madrid train bombings (also known in Spain as 11M) were a series of coordinated, nearly simultaneous bombings against the Cercanías Madrid, Cercanías commuter train system of Madrid, Spain, on the morning of 11 March 2004—three days before 2004 Spanish general election, Spain's general elections. The explosions killed 193 people and injured around 2,000. The bombings constituted the deadliest Terrorism, terrorist attack carried out in the history of Spain and the deadliest in Europe since Pan Am Flight 103, 1988. Richard Gaisford
Richard Gaisford is a British journalist for ITV. He has worked on ITV Breakfast programmes since 2000 where he started as the Chief Correspondent of GMTV. He later joined GMTV's successor '' Daybreak'' in 2010 in the same role. He has continued as the Chief Correspondent of '' Good Morning Britain'' from 2014, as well as being an occasional relief newsreader on the programme. Richard occasionally reports for the ''ITV Lunchtime News''. In 2011, Gaisford was chosen to travel with Prince William and Kate Middleton to Canada on their first Royal Tour.
