Steve Foley (defensive Back)
Stephen James Foley (born November 11, 1953) is an American former professional football player who was a safety in the National Football League (NFL). He played his entire 11-year NFL career (1976–1986) with the Denver Broncos after one year (1975) with the Jacksonville Express of the World Football League. As a member of the Orange Crush Defense, Foley played in the Super Bowl twice. He was a starter in Super Bowl XII against the Dallas Cowboys and played in Super Bowl XXI (his final game) against the New York Giants. The Broncos lost both of these games. Foley scored two touchdowns in his career, both of which came in 1984. He returned a fumble 22 yards on October 15 against the Green Bay Packers and an interception 40 yards on December 15 against the Seattle Seahawks. Steve Foley (diver)
Stephen Neil 'Steve' Foley (born 11 July 1957) is a former Australian diver. He competed at three successive Olympic Games and three Commonwealth Games. Foley competed in the springboard and platform events at the 1976, 1980 and 1984 Olympics. In the Commonwealth Games he won silver medals in both events at the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, and also competed in 1978 and 1986. He retired after the 1986 games, but remained involved in the sport as a coach. He was Australia's head diving coach at the 1988 Olympics but switched to work for the British diving team in 1999. Steve Foley (drummer)
Steven Foley (June 4, 1959 – August 23, 2008) was an American drummer who played for Curtiss A, Things That Fall Down, The Replacements, Bash & Pop, Wheelo, and several other bands in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He played live for the most part, but he recorded with songwriter Peter Lack, and he appears in a Replacements video, "When It Began," which received two 1991 MTV Video Music Awards nominations. Foley replaced founding member Chris Mars and toured Europe and the United States with the Replacements in support of their final album, ''All Shook Down'', and played in their final show (prior to a reunion in 2013), which took place on July 4, 1991, in Chicago's Grant Park. Steven Paul Foley (born 21 June 1953 in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex) is an English former professional footballer who made nearly 300 appearances in the Football League playing as a midfielder for Colchester United. He spent ten years on the coaching staff of Norwich City before moving to rivals Ipswich Town. Foley began his football career as a trainee with Colchester United. He played for Colchester for ten years, scoring 54 goals from 283 games in the Football League, and then played for Braintree Town. He joined the coaching staff at Colchester, working with the young players, and spent several spells as caretaker manager during the 1980s. He also spent time as a youth team coach at Watford. Stephen Foley (born 4 October 1962) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder for Liverpool, Fulham, Grimsby Town, Sheffield United, Swindon Town, Stoke City, Lincoln City and Bradford City. Career Foley was born in Liverpool and began his career with local club Liverpool, signing a professional contract in 1980. Steve Foley (born September 11, 1975 in Little Rock, Arkansas) is a former professional American football linebacker in the National Football League. He was drafted in the third round of the 1998 NFL Draft. High school years Foley attended Hall High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. In football, he was an All-Conference selection, All-State selection, and an All-American selection at both tight end and linebacker.
