Steve Doyle (Wisconsin Politician)
Steven P. Doyle (born May 21, 1958) is an American lawyer and Democratic politician from La Crosse County, Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 94th Assembly district since May 2011. The 94th Assembly district covers most of La Crosse County outside of the city of La Crosse. He also serves on the La Crosse County board of supervisors, and was chairman from 2002 through 2011. Background and personal life Born in La Crosse, Doyle graduated from Aquinas High School in 1976. Doyle then went on to graduate from University of Wisconsin–La Crosse in 1980 and received his Juris Doctor degree from University of Wisconsin Law School in 1986. He practices law in La Crosse, and taught local and state government and the American legal system at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Julian Bradley (politician)
Marc Julian Bradley (born February 11, 1981) is an American politician and businessman. A Republican, he represents the 28th district of the Wisconsin State Senate. The 28th district comprises southwestern suburbs of Milwaukee and the city of Milwaukee, including Franklin, Greenfield, Greendale, and Hales Corners, as well as the towns and villages of southeastern Waukesha County, part of the town of East Troy, and the village and town of Waterford. Wisconsin Elections Commission
The Wisconsin Elections Commission is a bipartisan regulatory agency of the State of Wisconsin established to administer and enforce election laws in the state. The Wisconsin Elections Commission was established by a 2015 act of the Wisconsin Legislature which also established the Wisconsin Ethics Commission to administer campaign finance, ethics, and lobbying laws. The two commissions began operation on June 30, 2016, replacing the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board (GAB), which was abolished. The Government Accountability Board had been established in 2008 to replace the Wisconsin Elections Board and Wisconsin Ethics Board. The Wisconsin Government Accountability Board (G.A.B.) was a regulatory agency for the State of Wisconsin which administered and enforced Wisconsin law pertaining to campaign finance, elections, ethics and lobbying. The agency was re-organized, over the opposition of many Democratic legislators, into two separate agencies (Ethics and Elections Commissions) following several controversies. A board of supervisors is a governmental body that oversees the operation of county government in the U.S. states of Arizona, California, Iowa, Mississippi, Virginia, and Wisconsin, as well as 16 counties in New York.
