Steve Darrell
Steve Darrell (born Darryl Eugene Horsfall, November 19, 1904 – August 14, 1970) was an American actor. Darrell was born in Osage in Mitchell County in northern Iowa. Darrell's career began in 1931 when he acted with the Trousdale Players in Des Moines, Iowa. He was cast as the wise Comanche chief Little Elk in the 1958 episode "Renegades" of ''Cheyenne''. Darrell died from a brain tumor in Hollywood, California. He is buried at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery. ''The Blazing Sun'' is a 1950 American Western film directed by John English and starring Gene Autry, Lynne Roberts, and Anne Gwynne. Plot Gene Autry is a private investigator for a banking association, on the trail of two bank robbers, Al Bartlett and Trot Lucas. '' Night Time in Nevada '' is a 1948 American Western film directed by William Witney and starring Roy Rogers. Plot Ran Farrell kills his mining partner and instead of giving the money to his partner's (Jim Andrews) daughter he steals it. Joan (the daughter) shows up to claim her money, and Farrell steals Roy Rogers' cattle to pay her. Then Farrell decides to keep the money and gives false information to Joan about the location of the next robbery. Roy's posse show up at the wrong location and as a result Roy is outnumbered. Plot Vaudeville dancer Tom Quinn (Castle) and his wife Ann are barely getting by on her job at a dance hall.
