Steve Craig
Steve Craig (born March 13, 1951) is an American football player who played tight end in the National Football League from 1974 to 1978 and played in two Super Bowls. He attended Garfield High School in Akron, Ohio, the same high school fellow NFL receiver Jim Lash attended, and Northwestern University. Craig was drafted in round three of the 1974 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings. James Verle Lash (November 12, 1951 – 31 May 2019) was an American football wide receiver in the National Football League in the 1970s and played on three Super Bowl teams. He attended Garfield High School in Akron, Ohio, the same high school that fellow NFL wide receiver Steve Craig attended. The 1974 NFL draft took place at the Americana Hotel in New York City, New York, on January 29–30, 1974. Each of the 26 NFL teams were granted 17 selections for a total of 442 picks. Many experts consider the 1974 Pittsburgh Steelers to have had the best draft class in NFL history as they selected four players later inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame (Lynn Swann, Jack Lambert, John Stallworth, and Mike Webster).
