Dinar Gilmutdinov
Dinar Zagitovich Gilmutdinov (russian: Динар Загитович Гильмутдинов; born 10 August 1969, Chebykovo, Mishkinsky District, Republic of Bashkortostan) is a Russian political figure and a deputy of the 8th State Duma. In 1991, he started working as an inspector of the road patrol service. In 1996, he was appointed as a deputy head of the Main Directorate for Traffic Safety in Ufa. From 2005 to 2021, he was the chief of the UGIBDD of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Bashkortostan. He left the post in 2021 to become a deputy for the 8th State Duma from the Bashkortostan constituency. Women of Russia (, ''Zhenshchiny Rossii'', ZhR) was a political bloc in Russia. History The party was established in the autumn of 1993 by merger of three women's groups, the Union of Women of Russia (the dominant force), the Association of Russia's Women Entrepreneurs and the Union of Women of the Navy. 2021 Russian Legislative Election
Legislative elections were held in Russia from 17 to 19 September 2021. At stake were 450 seats in the 8th convocation of the State Duma, the lower house of the Federal Assembly. Going into the elections, United Russia was the ruling party after winning the 2016 elections with 343 of the 450 seats, and retaining a supermajority. In March 2020, it was proposed to hold a snap election in September 2020 due to proposed constitutional reforms, but this idea was abandoned. On 18 June 2021 Vladimir Putin signed a decree calling the election for 19 September the same year. Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic in Russia, voting in the election lasted for three days, from 17 to 19 September. Final turnout was reported to be 51.72%. 2011 Russian Legislative Election
Legislative elections were held in Russia on 4 December 2011. At stake were the 450 seats in the 6th State Duma, the lower house of the Federal Assembly (the legislature). United Russia won the elections with 49.32% of the vote, taking 238 seats or 52.88% of the Duma seats. This result was down from 64.30% of the vote and 70% of the seats in the 2007 elections. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation received 19.19% of the vote and 92 seats, while A Just Russia received 13.24% and 64 seats, with the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia getting 56 seats with 11.67% of the vote. Proportional representation (PR) refers to a type of electoral system under which subgroups of an electorate are reflected proportionately in the elected body. The concept applies mainly to geographical (e.g. states, regions) and political divisions (political parties) of the electorate.
