Steppeulvene
Steppeulvene (Danish language for The Steppe Wolves) was a Denmark, Danish rock music, rock band which despite its short life has become the icon for the Danish hippie music scene. The name of the group was taken from the 1927 novel ''Steppenwolf (novel), Steppenwolf'' by German Nobel laureate Hermann Hesse. Also in 1967, in California, the band Steppenwolf (band), Steppenwolf named itself after the novel. Their only album ''Hip'' (1967) was the first rock album with original Danish lyrics, and has attained near-mythological status in the history of Danish rock. The group was the result of a collaboration between lead singer , who had traveled in the Orient in the early 1960s and wrote the Bob Dylan-inspired, highly symbolic and almost surreal lyrics, and (guitar, vocal), who wrote the drawling, psychedelic, folk-influenced music. Ole Christian Madsen
Ole Christian Madsen (born 18 June 1966) is a Danish film director and script writer. Among his most successful projects are the movies ''Flame & Citron'', '' Prag'', '' Angels in Fast Motion'' ( da. ''Nordkraft'') and the TV series ''Rejseholdet'' and '' Edderkoppen'' (''The Spider''). Madsen was a part of the "Golden Year" graduating from the Danish Film school as he graduated alongside Thomas Vinterberg and Per Fly. Halfdan Rasmussen
Halfdan Wedel Rasmussen (29 January 1915 in Copenhagen – 2 March 2002) was a Danish poet. He was known for his literary nonsense verse for children and his serious adult writings about social issues and human rights. He was awarded with the Ministry of Culture's children book prize (Kulturministeriets Børnebogspris) in 1965. Career Rasmussen was a resistance fighter during the German occupation. He became very well known and respected as a poet, nearly becoming a national poet of Denmark. One of his poems, ''Ikke Bødlen'', was featured as one of the best poems on Human Rights on a 1979 book published by Amnesty International Denmark, and would be later translated into the first verse of Roger Waters' song ''Each Small Candle''.
