Stephen Williams is a Canadian film director, film and television director. Williams has directed several modern-day television programs including work as a regular director on the American Broadcasting Company, ABC drama series ''Lost (TV series), Lost'', where he was also a television producer, co-executive producer. Life and career In 1995, Williams wrote and directed the film ''Soul Survivor (film), Soul Survivor'', which starred his brother Peter Williams (actor), Peter in the main role. In 2004, he began directing on the ABC drama series ''Lost (TV series), Lost'', and later also rose to the position of co-executive producer. Williams is married to Jocelyn Snowdon and the couple has a daughter together, in addition to Stephen's twin sons, Gabriel and Justis. The couple now resides in the Los Angeles area. Stephen Williams (born 6 June 1996) is a Welsh professional cyclist who currently rides for UCI ProSeries Team . His career wins include the 2021 CRO Race overall and stage one of the 2022 Tour de Suisse. Career After racing for and as an amateur, he joined as a stagiaire in August 2018 and became a full member of the team in 2019. Along with Mark Cavendish, he had planned to join for the 2023 season but the team collapsed before the season began. He later accepted an offer for 2023 from on a one-year contract. Race wins Williams made his breakthrough in the 2018 Ronde de l'Isard, an under-23 event in France. Williams dominated the four-stage race, winning the first and second stages on his way to victory in both the general and mountain classifications. He also won stage five of the Giro Ciclistico d'Italia or "Baby Giro" in the same year. Stephen Williams (1694–1782) was a boy captive of Deerfield and 1st Congregational minister of Longmeadow, Massachusetts. Early years Stephen Williams was the second son born on May 14, 1694, to the Reverend John Williams of Deerfield, Massachusetts, and Eunice Mather Williams, daughter of the Rev. Eleazar Mather of Northampton, Massachusetts. At the age of nine, Williams was abducted from his home in Deerfield by a raiding party composed roughly of 40 French soldiers, and about 200 Abenaki, Huron and Mohawk Indians, working with the French in Montreal. The raid took place in the early morning hours of February 29, 1704, surprising the inhabitants of the frontier town. Two of Stephen’s siblings were killed along with his mother Eunice, who had just given birth and whose “strength of body began to fail her” after falling into the waters of the Green River. Stephen Williams was an African American man, lynched in Upper Marlboro, Maryland on October 20, 1894. Williams had confessed to assaulting Mrs. Katie Hardesty, an offense described as "one of the most brutal in the criminal annals of Prince George's County" and was locked up in the Jail in Upper Marlboro. A group of masked men broke into the jail and pulled Williams from under his mattress, put a rope around his neck and dragged him from the jail. Williams was dragged to the "iron bridge just between the town and the railroad depot." The rope was thrown over the top beams of the bridge and Williams was "hauled up." A round of gunfire was unleashed into Williams' hanging body and the corpse was left dangling on the bridge. Stephen Roy Williams (born 11 October 1966) is a British Liberal Democrat politician who served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Bristol West from the 2005 general election until his defeat by Labour Party candidate Thangam Debbonaire in 2015.
