Stephen Sedgwick (mix Engineer)
Stephen Sedgwick is a British mix engineer best known for his work with Damon Albarn and Gorillaz. He is based at Studio 13 in West London. Career Stephen began his career in 2002 at London's Pierce Rooms. It was at Pierce Rooms in 2004, while working on the second Gorillaz studio album Demon Days, where Stephen first met Damon Albarn. In 2006, Damon invited Stephen to work at the first incarnation of Studio 13 and in 2010 Stephen was appointed Head Engineer at the current location near Ladbroke Grove. Stephen has recorded and mixed each of Damon's albums and music projects since 2004. Damon Albarn
Damon Albarn (; born 23 March 1968) is an English-Icelandic musician, singer-songwriter and composer, best known as the frontman and primary lyricist of the rock band Blur and as the co-creator and primary musical contributor of the virtual band Gorillaz. Raised in Leytonstone, East London, and around Colchester, Essex, Albarn attended The Stanway School, where he met guitarist Graham Coxon and formed Blur. They released their debut album ''Leisure'' in 1991. After spending long periods touring the US, Albarn's songwriting became increasingly influenced by British bands from the 1960s. Alexander James O'Connor (born 4 May 1998), known professionally as Rex Orange County, is an English singer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. O'Connor rose to prominence in 2017 following multiple features on Tyler, the Creator's Grammy-nominated album ''Flower Boy'', including the single "Boredom". Songhoy Blues is a desert blues music group from Timbuktu, Mali. The band was formed in Bamako after being forced to leave their homes during the civil conflict and the imposition of Sharia law. The band released its debut album, ''Music in Exile'', via Transgressive Records on February 23, 2015, while Julian Casablancas' Cult Records partnered with Atlantic Records to release the album in North America in March 2015. ''The Bravest Man in the Universe'' is the twenty-seventh and final studio album by the American soul artist Bobby Womack. Released on June 12, 2012, it was his first studio album since 2000 and his first album of original material since 1994's ''Resurrection''. ''Rocket Juice & the Moon'' is the only album by the supergroup of the same name, formed in 2008. The group consisted of Damon Albarn, Flea, and Tony Allen. Album history The project was announced in mid-2008; however due to various other projects by the band members recording was repeatedly delayed.
