Stephen Hiney
Stephen Hiney (born 27 October 1983) is a Hurling, hurler for Ballyboden St Enda's GAA, Ballyboden St Enda's and formerly Dublin GAA, Dublin. Hiney was the 2008 captain of the Dublin Senior Hurling team. Hiney won his first Dublin Senior Hurling Championship medal with his club Ballyboden St Enda's in October 2007 his second in 2008, his third (with a sore leg) in 2009 and his fourth in 201The 2007 Dublin championship win qualified Ballyboden to play in their first ever Leinster Senior Club Hurling Championship game against Oulart-The Ballagh of Wexford GAA, Wexford. Boden won the game by 1-17 to 0-15. Ballyboden lost in the 2007 Leinster Final against Birr of Offaly GAA, Offaly. John McCaffrey (hurler)
John McCaffrey (born 11 September 1987) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Lucan Sarsfields and has been a member of the Dublin senior inter-county team since 2006. Playing career Club McCaffrey plays his club hurling with the Lucan Sarsfield's club. He won a county minor championship title with the club in 2005. He also played when the club played their first ever Senior Hurling championship county final in 2013. Inter-county McCaffrey first lined out for the Dublin hurlers at minor level (as well as representing Dublin in minor football). He was captain of the team in 2005 as 'the Dubs' captured the Leinster title following a win over Wexford. Leinster Senior Club Hurling Championship
The Leinster Senior Club Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the AIB Leinster GAA Hurling Senior Club Championship) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the champion senior clubs in the province of Leinster in Ireland. It is the most prestigious club competition in Leinster hurling. Introduced in 1971, it was initially a straight knockout tournament open to all 12 county senior champions from the 1970 championship season.
