Stephen Carroll
Stephen Carroll is a Canadian rock guitarist, and a member of the indie rock band The Weakerthans. Originally a member of the punk rock band Painted Thin, he appeared as a guest musician on the first Weakerthans album, ''Fallow'', and became a permanent member after Painted Thin broke up. He also appeared as a guest musician on Greg Graffin's solo album ''Cold as the Clay'', along with bandmates Jason Tait and Greg Smith. Alongside Brandon Reid ( The National), Carroll co-produced The Details' full-length album ''Lost Art'', a pair of songs on The Details The Details are an indie rock band based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, featuring vocalist and guitarist Jon Plett, bassist Keli Martin, guitarist Sean Vidal and drummer Shaun Gibson. Steven Carroll
Steven Carroll (born 1949) is an Australian novelist. He was born in Melbourne, Victoria and studied at La Trobe University. He has taught English at secondary school level, and drama at RMIT. He has been Drama Critic for ''The Sunday Age'' newspaper in Melbourne. Steven Carroll is now a full-time writer living in Melbourne with his partner, the writer Fiona Capp, and their son. As of 2019, he also writes the non-fiction book review column for the '' Sydney Morning Herald''. The National (band)
The National is an American rock band of Cincinnati, Ohio natives, formed in Brooklyn, New York City in 1999. The band consists of Matt Berninger (vocals), twin brothers Aaron Dessner (guitar, piano, keyboards) and Bryce Dessner (guitar, piano, keyboards), as well as brothers Scott Devendorf (bass) and Bryan Devendorf (drums). Jason Tait is a Canadian musician from Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is the drummer for the Canadian indie rock band The Weakerthans. Tait has also been a contributing member of Broken Social Scene and The FemBots. ''Fallow'' is the debut studio album by The Weakerthans. It was released in 1997 on G7 Welcoming Committee Records in Canada, and in 1999 on Sub City Records in the United States. The songs "Letter of Resignation" and "Anchorless" were originally written for Propagandhi, the band which John K. Samson left to form the Weakerthans. "Letter of Resignation" appeared on the '' Propagandhi/F.Y.P.'' split 7-inch and "Anchorless" on the album ''Less Talk, More Rock''.
