Stephanie Hans
Stephanie Hans is a French illustrator and comics artist. She is best known for co-creating the series '' Die'', a three-time Hugo Award-finalist, and British Fantasy Award winner, with writer Kieron Gillen. Hans has worked with Marvel Comics, DC Comics, and Image Comics as an artist and series creator. Career Cover art Hans originally started with cover art for French prose literature. Hans attributes her cover for '' Firestar'' #1 in 2010 as the work that allowed her to break into the comics market. Hans' art has since appeared in a variety of mainstream US comics titles, often as a cover artist, including ''Captain America: Steve Rogers'', ''Ant-Man and the Wasp Prelude'', and '' Dark Agnes'' with Marvel Comics, and ''Lucifer'' and '' Batwoman'' with DC Comics. The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) is a Chicago fan convention dedicated to comics, pop culture, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, toys, movies, and television. The inaugural event was held April 16–18, 2010 at the McCormick Place in Chicago. History C2E2 was held for the first time April 16–18, 2010, with an estimated attendance between 20,000 and 30,000 attendees. The convention included dozens of professional and amateur comic book artists, and prominently featured booths from the biggest comic book publishers. Limited Series (comics)
In the field of comic books, a limited series is a comics series with a predetermined number of issues. A limited series differs from an ongoing series in that the number of issues is finite and determined before production, and it differs from a One-shot (comics), one shot in that it is composed of multiple issues. The term is often used interchangeably with miniseries (mini-series) and maxiseries (maxi-series), usually depending on the length and number of issues. In Dark Horse Comics' definition of a limited series, "this term primarily applies to a connected series of individual comic books. A limited series refers to a comic book series with a clear beginning, middle and end". Dark Horse Comics and DC Comics refer to limited series of two to eleven issues as miniseries and series of twelve issues or more as maxiseries, but other publishers alternate terms.
