Stephan Andrist
Stephan Andrist (born 12 December 1987) is a Swiss football midfielder who plays for FC Schötz. He is a former youth international. Club career As a child Andrist played for FC Dürrenast, but he came through the ranks at FC Thun. Andrist was called into their first team in 2007 and played his debut on 22 September in the home game against FC Luzern. Under head coach René van Eck Andrist became a regular in the team, but at the end of the 2007–08 Super League season, Thun finished last in the table and suffered relegation. In September 2008 Andrist suffered a tibia and fibula fracture, which kept him out of the team for more than a year. In the 2009–10 Challenge League season, under head coach Murat Yakin, Andrist faught his way back into the team and they were division champions and won promotion. René van Eck (born 18 February 1966) is a Dutch former professional footballer who works as Ludovic Magnin's assistant at Swiss Super League side FC Zürich. Playing career Club Van Eck started his professional career at local side Excelsior Rotterdam before moving to FC Den Bosch aged 20. The long-haired defender played four seasons at Den Bosch, then moved abroad to join FC Luzern where he would spend eight seasons and become captain of the team. Thorsten Fink (born 29 October 1967) is a German football coach and a former footballer, currently works as manager of Riga FC. Career Fink began his career with Borussia Dortmund's reserve squad before moving to SG Wattenscheid 09, where he helped them gain promotion to the first division of German football, the 1. The 2010–11 Swiss Super League was the 114th season of top-tier football in Switzerland. It began on 17 July 2010 and ended on 25 May 2011. The league comprised ten teams. FC Basel successfully defended their league title, maintaining a one-point edge over runners-up FC Zürich at the end of the season. It was the 14th league title overall for the club.
