Sten Sokk
Sten-Timmu Sokk (born 14 February 1989) is an Estonian professional basketball player for Charilaos Trikoupis Messolonghi B.C. of the Greek A2 Basket League. He is a 1.84 m (6 ft 0 in) tall point guard. He represents the Estonian national basketball team internationally. Professional career Sokk began playing basketball in his father's, Tiit Sokk's, basketball school. He began his professional career in 2005 with Noortekoondis/Audentes of the Korvpalli Meistriliiga. On his first season in the KML, Sokk averaged 7.04 points per game and won the KML Best Young Player Award. In 2006, Sokk joined Dalkia/Nybit, coached by his father. He was named KML Best Young Player twice more in 2007 and 2008. On 5 August 2008, Sokk joined TÜ/Rock, where he signed for the next four seasons. Latvian–Estonian Basketball League
The Latvian-Estonian Basketball League is the highest professional men's club basketball league in Latvia and Estonia; it has been organised since 2018, run by the Latvian Basketball Association and the Estonian Basketball Association. History The league was established in 2018 when the Latvijas Basketbola līga (LBL) and Korvpalli Meistriliiga (KML) merged. In its inaugural season, 15 teams participated in the league. After a Final Four is played to determine the winner of the league, there are playoffs to decide the national champions of Latvia and Estonia. The 2015–16 Korvpalli Meistriliiga season (also known as the Alexela Korvpalli Meistriliiga for sponsorship reasons) was the 91st season of top-tier basketball in Estonia. TÜ/Rock came into the season as defending champions of the 2014–15 KML season. The season began on 7 October 2015 and concluded on 27 May 2016 with Kalev/Cramo defeating TÜ/Rock 4 games to 1 in the 2016 KML Finals to win their 8th Estonian Championship. BC Nybit
Triobet/Dalkia (also known as Nybit) was an Estonian professional basketball club founded in 1992 and dissolved in 2008. The club played in the Estonian Korvpalli Meistriliiga. The team won 1 Estonian Cup. The team played its home games at Audentes Sports Center. History Founded in 1992 as Dublant, the team changed its name to Nybit in 1993. In 1998, the team won the Estonian Basketball Cup. Nybit reached the Korvpalli Meistriliiga finals in the 1998–99 KML season and the 2003–04 KML season but failed to win the title. Estonia Men's National Basketball Team
The Estonia men's national basketball team ( et, Eesti korvpallikoondis) represents Estonia in international basketball matches. They are controlled by the Estonian Basketball Association.
