Sten Ove Eike
Sten Ove Eike (born 8 October 1981) is a former Norwegian football forward, who played for Haugesund most of his career. Career Eike was born in Skudenes, and played for the local club Skudenes UIL before he joined Haugesund in 2004. Eike suffered from a heart attack after a match against Stavanger on 27 September 2009, but he made his comeback in the 2011 Tippeligaen. He played 124 matches and scored 20 goals for Haugesund. On 15 August 2011, Eike signed a half-year contract with the 1. divisjon club Sandefjord. Skudenes
Skudenes is a former municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It was part of the traditional district of Haugaland. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1965. The administrative centre was the town of Skudeneshavn (which technically was a separate municipality). The municipality originally encompassed land that is now part of the municipalities of Bokn and Karmøy. It included the southern part of the island of Karmøy and the three islands to the east: Vestre Bokn, Austre Bokn, and Ognøya. In 1849, the three smaller islands were separated to form Bokn municipality. Today, the Skudenes area refers to the southern part of Karmøy island. In 2009, there were about 3,226 inhabitants. 2009 Norwegian First Division
The 2009 1. divisjon (referred to as Adeccoligaen for sponsorship reasons) was a Norwegian second-tier football season. The season began play on 5 April 2009 and will end on 1 November 2009. The club relegated from the Tippeligaen in 2008 was Ham-Kam. Sandnes Ulf and Hødd were relegated to the 2. divisjon in 2008 after finishing in fifteenth and sixteenth place respectively. Tromsdalen, Stavanger, Mjøndalen, and Skeid were promoted from the 2. divisjon in 2008. The 2011 Tippeligaen was the 67th completed season of top division football in Norway. The competition began on 20 March 2011 and ended on 27 November 2011. Rosenborg were the defending champions, having secured their twenty-second League Championship on 24 October 2010. Sogndal, Sarpsborg 08 and Fredrikstad entered as the three promoted teams from the 2010 1. divisjon. They replaced Hønefoss, Kongsvinger and Sandefjord who were relegated to the 2011 1. divisjon.
