Stemme AG is a German glider manufacturer. Aircraft production is complemented by service, maintenance and repair of their sports and personal aircraft. Starting in 2014 many Stemme glider structural components were made under contract by Remos AG. In April 2017 Stemme AG and Remos AG, manufacturers of the Remos GX series merged, under the name Stemme AG. Stemme S6
The Stemme S6 is a two-seat touring motorglider manufactured by Stemme AG. Unlike the S10, the S6 has a non-retractable three-bladed propeller (that can feather like other touring motor gliders), a wider fuselage design, and tricycle landing gear, available both with fixed and retractable configurations. Stemme S12
The Stemme S12 is a German high-wing, two-seat motor glider produced by Stemme of Strausberg. It was introduced at AERO Friedrichshafen in April 2015, shortly after its first flight. Design and development Based in the Stemme S10, the Stemme S12 features a cantilever wing, a T-tail, a two-seats-in-side-by-side configuration enclosed cockpit under a bubble canopy and a single engine with a retractable propeller. The aircraft is made from composite material. Its span wing employs winglets. The mid-fuselage-mounted engine is the Rotax 914 F2/S1 four-stroke turbocharged powerplant driving a retractable, folding, variable-pitch propeller. Its maximum glide ratio is 53:1. Stemme ASP S15
The Stemme ASP S15 is a German two-seat powered sailplane designed and built by Stemme for use as an Airborne Systems Platform. Design and development The ASP S15 is a two-seat single-engined, all composite construction, powered sailplane with the engine mounted in the center fuselage. The cockpit has room for two in side-by-side configuration. It has a shoulder wing, a conventional T-tail and a retractable nose wheel landing gear. It can also be fitted with a 2-axis autopilot and external underwing payload pods. The ASP S15-1 was granted a restricted type certificate by the European Aviation Safety Agency in October 2013. SAGEM Patroller
The Patroller is a French Medium-altitude long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle, medium-altitude long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle developed and manufactured by Safran Electronics & Defense (formerly by SAGEM). The airframe is based on the Stemme ASP S15 motor glider. The first flight was in June 2009 at Kemijarvi in Finland; it was shown at the 2009 Paris Air Show. The Patroller is a Medium-altitude long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle (MALE) by the definition of the NATO. It completed another series of flight tests in July 2010, which demonstrated it is capable of missions lasting 20–30 hours; it can carry a 250 kg payload (including 80 kg under each wing). The Patroller will carry out imaging and surveillance trials in southern France, detecting forest fires. The Patroller uses the same ground control station as Sperwer II. A glider or sailplane is a type of glider aircraft used in the leisure activity and sport of gliding (also called soaring). This unpowered aircraft can use naturally occurring currents of rising air in the atmosphere to gain altitude. Remos GX
The Remos G3 Mirage and Remos GX are German high wing, two seat, single engine light aircraft, built by Remos AG of Pasewalk. The aircraft is supplied as a kit for amateur construction or complete and ready-to-fly. Design and development The aircraft is marketed in the United States as a Light Sport Aircraft, and as an ultralight in most of Europe. It is a high-wing design, mostly using engines from the Rotax 912 family. It was developed from the similar Remos Gemini Ultra. The Mirage has the same layout, landing gear and structure but has a span reduced by 1.00 m (3 ft 3 in), is 170 mm ( 6.7 in) longer and is 34 kg (75 lb) heavier. Pasewalk () is a town in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district, in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Germany. Located on the Uecker river, it is the capital of the former Uecker-Randow district, and the seat of the Uecker-Randow-Tal ''Amt'', of which it is not part.
