Stella Mozgawa
Stella Mozgawa is an Australian drummer, best known as a member of the indie rock band Warpaint, with whom she has recorded four studio albums. Alongside her work with Warpaint, Mozgawa has contributed to recordings by musicians Kurt Vile, Adam Green, Cate Le Bon, the xx, Tim Presley, Tom Jones, Kim Gordon and Regina Spektor. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mozgawa co-produced Courtney Barnett's third studio album, ''Things Take Time, Take Time'', released in November 2021. Biography Childhood and early life Growing up in Sydney, Mozgawa was raised by her Polish parents, who had moved from Poland to Australia to perform music together as a musical duo. At age 13, Mozgawa began playing the drums, and was initially influenced by the drummer Zac Hanson from the pop band Hanson. ''The Fool'' is the debut studio album by American alternative rock band Warpaint, released on October 25, 2010, on Rough Trade Records. The album was recorded at two studios—Curves Studio and The Boat Studio—in the band's native Los Angeles, California, throughout 2010 and was produced by Tom Biller, who also shared mixing duties with Andrew Weatherall and Adam Samuels. The band describe the album as the "older sister" of their debut, ''Exquisite Corpse'' (2008). Release ''The Fool'' was released on October 25, 2010, in the United Kingdom and the following day in the United States. The album was previewed before its physical release through an exclusive stream on The Hype Machine on October 18. Shannyn Sossamon
Shannon Marie Kahololani "Shannyn" Sossamon () is an American actress, director, and musician. Theresa Wayman
Theresa Becker Wayman (born June 23, 1980), also known by the stage name TT, is an American musician, singer-songwriter and occasional actress, best known as guitarist and vocalist of the indie rock band Warpaint. Early and personal life Theresa was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon. She became interested in music at age 9, when she started "jamming along with erdad" on guitar. At age 10, her mother encouraged her to learn piano. Wayman has said that she "dabbled in guitar as a teen; then got really serious about guitar and drums when hewas about 21". Wayman's musical influences from her childhood and adolescence include Talking Heads, Cyndi Lauper, Tina Turner, Jimmy Page and Björk. Michael Peter Balzary (born October 16, 1962), known professionally as Flea, is an Australian-American musician and actor. He is a founding member and bassist of the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers. David Hillel Lowy (born 31 December 1954) is an Australian businessman, aviator and musician. He is the eldest son of Westfield Corporation co-founder Frank Lowy and Principal of Lowy Family Group (LFG), the Family Office and private investment group of the Lowy family. Mink (styled as MINK) were an American pop rock band formed in early 2006. They were led by American-born Neal Carlson on lead vocals with four Australian musicians Grant Fitzpatrick on bass guitar, David Lowy on rhythm guitar, Nick Maybury on lead guitar and Stella Mozgawa on drums.
