Stelian Moculescu
Stelian Moculescu (born 6 May 1950, in Brașov) is a Romanian volleyball coach and former player. From 1987 to 1990 and from 1999 to 2008 he was also the coach of the Germany men's national volleyball team and the Romania men's national volleyball team. He is widely considered one of the greatest coaches in the history of this sport and a living legend. He was awarded the Volleyball-Award in 2007 by the German Volleyball Association for his services to the sport. Brașov
Brașov (, , ; german: Kronstadt; hu, Brassó; la, Corona; Transylvanian Saxon: ''Kruhnen'') is a city in Transylvania, Romania and the administrative centre of Brașov County. According to the latest Romanian census (2011), Brașov has a population of 253,200 making it the 7th most populous city in Romania. The metropolitan area is home to 382,896 residents. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996.
