Stein Ørnhøi
Stein Ørnhøi (born 15 November 1935 in Trondheim) is a Norwegian politician for the Socialist Left Party, he was the last party leader of the Socialist People's Party of Norway. Ørnhøi was raised in Trondheim, earned his university entrance certificate in 1954, and graduated from the teacher's college in Levanger in 1958. He moved to Østfold, where he started his career as politician as the chair on the school board in Tune in 1961.. Retrieved on 4 July 2008. He continued his teaching career until 1961, when he joined the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation as a producer, primarily for children's programming. In 1977, he was elected to Norwegian parliament as a representative from Oslo. He was re-elected in 1981. Lisbeth Holand
Lisbeth Holand (born 20 January 1946, in Vikna) is a Norwegian politician for the Socialist Left Party. She was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Nordland in 1989, and was re-elected on one occasion. She had previously served as a deputy representative during the terms 1985–1989, and later served in this position from 1997–2001. Holand was involved in local politics in Brønnøy municipality. She is also a former leader of Nei til EU. In 1968–1970 she was a member of the national board of the Young Liberals of Norway. Kristen Nygaard (27 August 1926 – 10 August 2002) was a Norwegian computer scientist, programming language pioneer, and politician. Internationally, Nygaard is acknowledged as the co-inventor of object-oriented programming and the programming language Simula with Ole-Johan Dahl in the 1960s. Nygaard and Dahl received the 2001 A. M. Turing Award for their contribution to computer science. Early life and career Nygaard was born in Oslo and received his master's degree in mathematics at the University of Oslo in 1956. His thesis on abstract probability theory was entitled "Theoretical Aspects of Monte Carlo methods".
