Steffen Kotré
Steffen Kotré (born 29 April 1974 in East Berlin, East Germany) is a German politician for the Alternative for Germany (AfD) and since 2017 member of the Bundestag. Life and politics Kotre was born 1974 in East Berlin and studied engineering management. He is member of the fraternity Corps Berlin. In 2013, Kotre entered the newly founded Alternative for Germany (AfD) and after the 2017 German federal election became a member of the Bundestag representing Brandenburg. As of 2019, Kotre denied the scientific consensus on climate change. Bundestag
The Bundestag (, "Federal Diet") is the German federal parliament. It is the only federal representative body that is directly elected by the German people. It is comparable to the United States House of Representatives or the House of Commons of the United Kingdom. East Berlin

2017 German Federal Election
Federal elections were held in Germany on 24 September 2017 to elect the members of the 19th Bundestag. At stake were at least 598 seats in the Bundestag, as well as 111 overhang and leveling seats determined thereafter. The Christian Democratic Union of Germany and the Christian Social Union of Bavaria ( CDU/CSU), led by incumbent chancellor Angela Merkel, won the highest percentage of the vote with 33%, though it suffered a large swing against it of more than 8%. The Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) achieved its worst result since post-war Germany at 21%. Scientific Consensus On Climate Change
There is a strong scientific consensus that the Earth is warming and that this warming is mainly caused by human activities.
