Stefanos Evangelou
Stefanos Evangelou ( gr, Στέφανος Ευαγγέλου; born 12 May 1998) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Moldovan Super Liga club Sheriff Tiraspol. Career Evangelou plays mainly as a centre-back and joined Panathinaikos from Panionios in the summer of 2015. In January 2017, he made his debut with the club in a Greek Cup match against Kissamikos. On 5 October 2020, Evangelou signed with Górnik Zabrze for two years, with a two-year option, for an undisclosed fee. On 8 September 2021, he left the club by mutual consent. Sheriff Tiraspol In 2021 he moved to Sheriff Tiraspol in Moldova. In his first season with the club, he won the 2021–22 Moldovan National Division and the 2021–22 Moldovan Cup. The 2021–22 Moldovan National Division ( ro, Divizia Națională) is the 31st season of top-tier football in Moldova. The season began on 1 July 2021 and will conclude on 14 May 2022. Sheriff Tiraspol are the defending champions. The 2022–23 season was FC Sheriff Tiraspol's 26th season, and their 25th in the Divizia Naţională, the top-flight of Moldovan football. Sheriff are defended their Divizia Naţională title for the eighth season in a row, whilst also winning the Moldovan Cup to complete a domestic double. Moldovan National Division
The Moldovan Super Liga is an association football league that is currently the top division of Moldovan football league system. The competition was established in 1992, when the country became independent from the Soviet Union. It was formed in place of former Soviet republican competitions that existed since 1945. Before the Soviet occupation of Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina in 1940, clubs from modern Moldova competed in the Romanian football competitions, particularly Nistru Chișinău. There are currently eight teams in the competition. At the end of the season, the bottom club is relegated to the Moldovan Liga 1 and replaced by the lower league's champion. Poland Ekstraklasa (), meaning "Extra Class" in Polish, named PKO Ekstraklasa since the 2019–20 season due to its sponsorship by PKO Bank Polski, is the top Polish professional league for men's association football teams. The 2020–21 Ekstraklasa (also known as PKO Ekstraklasa due to sponsorship reasons) was the 95th season of the Polish Football Championship, the 87th season of the highest tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1927 and the 13th season of the Ekstraklasa under its current title.
