Stefanie Horn
Stefanie Horn (born 9 January 1991 in Bottrop, Germany) is a German-Italian Canoe slalom, slalom canoeist who competed for Germany from 2006 to 2012. She has represented Italy since 2013. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Horn is an athlete of the Gruppo Sportivo della Marina Militare, Career She won a silver medal in the Mixed C2 event at the 2017 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships in Pau, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Pau together with Niccolò Ferrari. She also won four medals (1-2-1) at the European Canoe Slalom Championships, European Championships, including a bronze in kayak cross at the Canoe slalom at the 2023 European Games, 2023 European Games in Kraków. Horn competed at two Olympic games. Bottrop
Bottrop () is a city in west-central Germany, on the Rhine–Herne Canal, in North Rhine-Westphalia. Located in the Ruhr industrial area, Bottrop adjoins Essen, Oberhausen, Gladbeck, and Dorsten. Canoe Slalom At The 2023 European Games
Canoe slalom events at the 2023 European Games were held at the Kraków-Kolna Canoe Slalom Course. A total of 10 medal events were contested, 5 for men and women each (C1, K1, Kayak cross, C1 team and K1 team). It was the first time that canoe slalom was in the program of European Games. 2013 European Canoe Slalom Championships
The 2013 European Canoe Slalom Championships took place in Kraków, Poland between June 6 and 9, 2013 under the auspices of the European Canoe Association (ECA) at the Kraków-Kolna Canoe Slalom Course. It was the 14th edition and it was the second time that Kraków hosted the event after hosting it in 2008. The competitions were held over two days instead of three due to floods which forced the organizers to shorten the program. The qualification for individual events consisted of a single run instead of two and the semifinal runs were skipped. Therefore, the competitions were decided in two runs instead of four. The women's C1 team event was canceled completely.
