Stefan Stanchev
Stefan Stanchev ( bg, Стефан Станчев; born 26 April 1989) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Rodopa Smolyan. Career Levski Sofia Stanchev comes directly from Levski Sofia's youth academy. After the establishment of the second team of Levski, he became a part of the new-formed PFC Levski Sofia B. During the first season of the Doubles League, Levski became a champion. Stanchev made his official debut for Levski's senior team at 13 June 2009 in a match against Pirin Blagoevgrad. The result of the match was 1:1 with a guest draw for Levski. On 7 January 2010, Stanchev started training with Levski again. On 20 March 2010, he was in the starting line-up for Levski and played the full 90 minutes, earning praise for his performance in the 3:0 home win against Slavia Sofia. Smolyan
Smolyan ( bg, Смолян) List of cities and towns in Bulgaria, is a town and ski resort in the south of Bulgaria near the border with Greece. It is the administrative and industrial centre of the homonymous Smolyan Province. The town is built along the valley of Cherna ("Black") and Byala River, Byala ("White") rivers in the central Rhodope Mountains which makes him the longest city in Bulgaria. It is also located at foot of the mountain's highest peak Golyam Perelik - 2191m. Smolyan is just 10-15 minutes drive from the popular ski resorts Pamporovo and Chepelare. As of June 2022 it has a population of 30 689 inhabitants. PFC Pirin Blagoevgrad
PFC Pirin Blagoevgrad was a Bulgarian professional football club based in Blagoevgrad. History Makedonska slava Club was founded in 1928 as Makedonska Slava (" Macedonian Glory"). In 1948 the club joined the newly established FD Julius Dermendzhiev and cease its independent existence. In 2000 Makedonska Slava was restored after unification with Granit Stara Kresna. In 2002–03 season was successful for the club, which finished 2nd, and won promotion to the A PFG for first time in the club's history. Pirin Blagoevgrad Several years later, under the hand of the new owner Nikolay Galchev, the football club renamed to Pirin 1922 in the 2004/05 season and returned again to top flight football for the next, 2005–06 season.
