Stealin' Beats EP
''Stealin' Beats EP'' was the debut release from British band Kid Galahad. Despite retaining the same line-up, the band changed their name in 2006 and are now known as The Furze. The title track "Stealin' Beats" was recorded in the studio and produced by Jim Abbiss who had previously worked with artists such as UNKLE and DJ Shadow. "Days" and "Nefarious" were both recorded live, in order to showcase the band's acclaimed live performances. "Watching the Sun go Down" was a demo recording made in lead singer, Ash's back garden, and includes authentic bird and aeroplane sounds. The EP was generally well received and was made ''"single of the week"'' by NME magazine and BBC Radio One. "Stealin' Beats" was also used in the PlayStation 2 game '' Dancing Stage MegaMix'' which has sold more than 500,000 copies worldwide. The same song featured the UK Channel 4 comedy drama Teachers. Kid Galahad (band)
The Furze are a Great Britain, British Independent music, indie band from Maidenhead, Berkshire, England. The members of the band have been recording together for more than ten years, and the same line-up have previously performed under the name Kid Galahad. The band’s current name is a reference to Maidenhead#Geography, Furze Platt, the suburb of Maidenhead where all the members hail from. Their music style has been compared to that of Beck and Jane's Addiction. The band have supported a number of prominent bands and artists at concerts around the world, including Marillion, Kaiser Chiefs, Supergrass, Oasis (band), Oasis, Kings of Leon and Elliott Smith. The band have bemoaned the lack of live music venues and outlets for local talent in the Maidenhead area, and as a result have invested in Denmark Studios in the town. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. Guitar
The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings. ''Teachers'' is a British television comedy-drama series, created by Tim Loane and originally shown on Channel 4. The series follows a group of secondary school teachers in their daily lives. ''Dancing Stage MegaMiX'' is the fifth home release in the ''Dancing Stage'' series, a European version of the ''Dance Dance Revolution'' series of music video games.
