''Stay Tuned'' was a Canadian comedy television series which aired on CBC Television from 1976 to 1977. Premise This live comedy series began once the ''Hockey Night in Canada'' broadcast concluded and continued until 11:00 p.m., the start of '' The National''. Jayne Eastwood (born December 17, 1946), also credited as Jane Easton or Jane Eastwood, is a Canadian actress and comedian. Eugene Levy
Eugene Levy (born December 17, 1946) is a Canadian actor and comedian. From 1976 until 1984, he appeared in the Canadian television sketch comedy series '' SCTV''. He has also appeared in the '' American Pie'' series of films and the Canadian sitcom ''Schitt's Creek''. He often plays flustered and unconventional figures. He is a regular collaborator of actor-director Christopher Guest, appearing in and co-writing four of his films, commencing with ''Waiting for Guffman'' (1996). In 2004, Levy won a Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media for "A Mighty Wind" from the film of the same name that he co-wrote. CBC Television has aired National Hockey League (NHL) broadcasts under the ''Hockey Night in Canada'' (often abbreviated ''Hockey Night'' or ''HNiC'') brand that is primarily associated with its Saturday night NHL broadcasts throughout its history in various platforms. Saturday NHL broadcasts began in 1931 on the CNR Radio network, and debuted on television in 1952. Initially games were aired once a week, but doubleheader games had debuted in 1995 at 7:30 pm and 10:30 pm (ET) start times. Since 1998, the games begin at 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm (ET).
