The State and Region Governments () are the sub-cabinet of each states and regions of Myanmar. The Head of the state or region cabinet is Chief Minister. The Member of cabinet is Minister of the state or region. The cabinet is formed with Chief Minister, Ministers and State/Region Advocate. With the agreement of State and Regional Hluttaws, the President can set the number of ministries. Executive Authority Not contradict with the provisions of the Constitution, the executive power of the Region or State Government by the Region or State Legislative Affairs extends. State And Regional Hluttaws
Myanmar ( also known as ''Burma'') is divided into twenty-one administrative subdivisions, which include seven states (; ''pyi ne'', ), seven regions (; ''taing detha gyi'', ), five self-administered zones and one self-administered division (Wa Self-Administered Division). The regions were called divisions prior to August 2010. Each State and Region has a State Hluttaw or Regional Hluttaw made up of elected civilian members and unelected representatives of the Armed Forces. The Constitution of Myanmar grants the Myanmar Armed Forces' Commander-in-Chief the right to appoint military officials to one-third of parliamentary seats, while the remaining two-thirds of seats are elected. Ayeyarwady Region
Ayeyarwady Region ( my, ဧရာဝတီတိုင်းဒေသကြီး , , ; formerly Ayeyarwady Division and Irrawaddy Division), is a region of Myanmar, occupying the delta region of the Ayeyarwady River (Irrawaddy River). Myint Naing
Myint Naing ( my, မြင့်နိုင်) is a Burmese politician and former political prisoner who currently serves as Chief Minister of Sagaing Region and previously served as an Amyotha Hluttaw member of parliament for Sagaing Region Constituency № 3. In the 1990 Burmese general election, he was elected as an Pyithu Hluttaw MP, winning a majority of 30,628 (76% of the votes), but was never allowed to assume his seat. Aung Moe Nyo ( my, အောင်မိုးညို), a doctor, is a Burmese politician who served as Chief Minister of Magway Region, the head of the Magway Region Government, from 2016 to 2021. He was elected from NLD in the former elections and re-elected in the 2015 election and became the chief minister in 2016.
