The State University of Novi Pazar ( sr, Државни Универзитет у Новом Пазару, Državni Univerzitet u Novom Pazaru) is a public university in Serbia. It was founded in 2006 and organized in ten faculties with headquarters in Novi Pazar. Novi Pazar
Novi Pazar ( sr-cyr, Нови Пазар, lit. "New Bazaar"; ) is a city located in the Raška District of southwestern Serbia. As of the 2011 census, the urban area has 66,527 inhabitants, while the city administrative area has 100,410 inhabitants. The city is the cultural center of the Bosniaks in Serbia and the region of Sandžak. European University Association
The European University Association (EUA) represents more than 800 institutions of higher education in 48 countries, providing them with a forum for cooperation and exchange of information on higher education and research policies. Members of the Association are European universities involved in teaching and research, national associations of rectors and other organisations active in higher education and research. The International University of Novi Pazar ( sr, Интернационални Универзитет у Новом Пазару, Internacionalni Univerzitet u Novom Pazaru) is a Serbian private university which was founded in 2002 with support of then Prime Minister of Serbia Zoran Đinđić. Upon their request a Muslim minority from Sandžak area was given the right to found their own university.
