Borung Highway
The Borung Highway is a 138 kilometre rural highway in western Victoria running in a west–east direction from Dimboola in the west to Charlton in the east. The highway serves little more than connectivity between local communities, and is busiest between the towns of Donald and Charlton (with exception to the 15 km section that it shares with the Sunraysia Highway between Donald and Litchfield). The more notable features along the highway exist in the pastoral scenery, and the surprising appearance of lakes amongst the rolling hills. Buloke trees (from which the Shire of Buloke gets its name), are a regular feature along the eastern segment of the road. It is notable that very few of the highways in Victoria have Aboriginal names. In the nineteenth century amateur scientist and long serving member of the Victorian Legislative Council W. E. Kentucky Route 234
Kentucky Route 234 (KY 234) is a north–south state highway in southern Kentucky. The southern terminus of the route is at KY 101 six miles (10 km) north of Scottsville. The northern terminus is at U.S. Route 68 (US 68) and KY 80 in downtown Bowling Green. Although the route follows a generally east–west alignment for most of its length, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet route logs list the route as north–south. Route description KY 234 is known solely by its numerical designation from KY 101 to the Allen-Warren county line. Upon entering Warren County, KY 234 becomes Cemetery Road. A short distance east of the Bowling Green city limits, KY 234 interchanges with Interstate 65 at exit 26. State Road 234 exists in two sections in Indiana. The western portion begins at the Illinois border from a Vermilion County, Illinois, county road. It runs east from there to U.S. Route 136 (US 136) near Jamestown. Much of the route is a scenic, two-lane road with very tight turns. The primary access to Shades State Park is located along SR 234.
