Stash (band)
Stash (formerly Stache) is a Belgian music band that out of almost nowhere scored a monster hit in Flanders with the title "Sadness" in 2004–2005. The hit single broke the records of the hit list of the VRT, the Ultratop by being both the longest present track in the top 10 as well as the longest present track in the entire Ultratop 75. In the videoclip "Sadness", several famous Flemish musical artists appear, like Axl Peleman, Guy Swinnen, Luc De Vos and Walter Grootaers. In the clip of "Shelter from Evil Ones", the mothers of the four band members play music as well. In the summer of 2005, they could be seen at Rock Werchter and Marktrock, among others. The front man of Stash is Gunther Verspecht. Stash Records was an American independent jazz record label based in New York City that flourished from 1975 through the late 1990s. Its name was drawn from the subject of its first album, ''Reefer Songs'' (1976). Bernie Brightman ''(né'' Bernard Benjamin Brightman; 1921–2003) founded the label in 1975, structured it as a New York entity May 4, 1977 – Stash Records, Inc. – and operated it about until 1998. The corporation dissolved March 28, 2001. Bongzilla is an American stoner metal band that formed in Madison, Wisconsin in 1995. They released their debut extended play, ''Mixed Bag'', the following year through Rhetoric Records. Much of Bongzilla's lyrics are centered around cannabis use and similar themes. Following a six-year hiatus, the band reformed in 2015 and embarked upon a North American tour.
