Starfuckers, Inc.
"Starfuckers, Inc." (known as "Starsuckers, Inc." in its censored form) is a song by American industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails from their third studio album '' The Fragile''. Although the song does not have an official halo (the numbering system used by Nine Inch Nails for each release), an edited single was distributed with exclusive radio edits and a video for the song was produced. Background Written by Trent Reznor and Charlie Clouser, "Starfuckers, Inc." is one of the heaviest songs on '' The Fragile''. The chorus is built on heavy metal guitars and choruses shouted by a crowd. The verses feature breakbeats, deep bass hits, and glitchy vocals. The outro introduces more synthesizers, distortion, and sound effects. "Starfuckers, Inc." deals with the self-involved vanity and shallow commercialization of fame. The song directly references "You're So Vain", Carly Simon's ode to a self-absorbed lover, by quoting the chorus: These lyrics were changed for the video version ...

Iron Man (song)
"Iron Man" is a song by English heavy metal band Black Sabbath, released in 1970 from the band's second studio album, ''Paranoid''. Composition Upon hearing Tony Iommi's main guitar riff at rehearsal for the first time, vocalist Ozzy Osbourne remarked that it sounded "like a big iron bloke walking about", with "Iron Bloke" becoming the placeholder title for a short time as the band worked out the song.''Classic Albums – Paranoid'', by Isis Productions/Eagle Rock Entertainment As the song developed and Butler composed the lyrics, the title evolved to "Iron Man". The lyrics, composed by bassist and lyricist Geezer Butler, tell the story of a man who travels into the future and sees the apocalypse. In the process of returning to the present to warn the human race, he is turned into steel by a magnetic field and his attempts to warn the public are ignored and mocked. Feeling shunned and alone, Iron Man plans his revenge on mankind, causing the apocalypse seen in his visio ...

Black Sabbath
Black Sabbath were an English rock music, rock band formed in Birmingham in 1968 by guitarist Tony Iommi, drummer Bill Ward (musician), Bill Ward, bassist Geezer Butler and vocalist Ozzy Osbourne. They are often cited as pioneers of heavy metal music. The band helped define the genre with releases such as ''Black Sabbath (album), Black Sabbath'' (1970), ''Paranoid (album), Paranoid'' (1970) and ''Master of Reality'' (1971). The band had multiple line-up changes following Osbourne's departure in 1979 and Iommi is the only constant member throughout their history. After previous iterations of the group – the Polka Tulk Blues Band and Earth – the band settled on the name Black Sabbath in 1969. They distinguished themselves through occult themes with horror-inspired lyrics and down-tuned guitars. Signing to Philips Records in November 1969, they released their first single, "Evil Woman (Crow song), Evil Woman", in January 1970, and their debut album, ''Black Sabbath'', was rel ...

Self Destruct Tour
The Self Destruct Tour was a concert tour in support of industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails' album ''The Downward Spiral'', which took place in early 1994, running until mid-1996, and was broken into eight legs. Overview The tour was filmed for the '' Closure'' documentary that documented live performances as well as the band from 1989–1991. The second tape in the set – issued in late 1997 – featured the band's music videos. A DVD version, featuring bonus content, was planned for 2005. However, licensing issues forced an indefinite delay. An alleged "prototype" of the DVDs eventually leaked to torrent websites in 2006. This release has been attributed to Trent Reznor himself. This was Nine Inch Nails' first tour since the early 1990s shows for Pretty Hate Machine. During this time, NIN's music became angrier and more aggressive via '' Broken'' and ''The Downward Spiral'', which led to the concerts being often violent and personal, with band members injuring themselves.
