Staré
Staré ( hu, Sztára) is a village and municipality in Michalovce District in the Kosice Region of eastern Slovakia. History In history, historical records the village was first mentioned in 1221. Geography The village lies at an altitude of 107 metres and covers an area of 6.234 km2. The municipality has a population of about 700 people. The name was taken from gróf Sztáray. Stare Selo ( uk, Старе Село), literally "Old Village", until 2016 – Chervone ( uk, Червоне), or simply Stare, is a village in Ukraine, in Sumy Raion, Sumy Oblast. It is the seat of its local self-governing body, Starosiljskiy Village Council. Location The village of Stare is located on the right bank of the Psel River, 9 km south of central Sumy. Ward Stare
Ward Stare (Born August 27, 1982) is an American conductor. Stare was the Music Director of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra from 2014 until 2021 and was also the Resident Conductor of the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra from 2008 to 2012.  Stare is currently active as a guest conductor both domestically within the United States as well as internationally. In addition Stare currently holds a position as a Distinguished Artist at the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. Biography Early life Stare was born and raised in Rochester, New York. Stare was trained as a trombonist at the Juilliard School in Manhattan. Stare (indie Band)
Stare were an early 1990s four-piece indie band from Norfolk, England. Members of the band were Michael Brown, Karl Goodbody, Richard Hammerton and Derek O'Sullivan, joined by second guitarist in March 1992 David Donley. They released three EPs entitled ''Stare'', ''Mood'' and ''Work'' between 1991 and 1992 on the Fusebox and Big Life record labels and split in 1992. ''Stare'' is the third album by Russian rock band Gorky Park, released in 1996, originally under Nox Music in Russia. Background Before recording the album, the band began touring followed by Russia in 1994. The following year, they focus at their new studio in Los Angeles with new songs composed, many of them written by the duo of Alain Johannes and Natasha Shneider from Eleven band. Shortly before the recording began, the band incorporates a keyboardist, Nikolai Kuzminih, due to the evolution to a more progressive rock style. At the same time, they invited English session guitarist Allan Holdsworth and drummer Ron Powel. Back in Russia, the mix was made by Erwin Musper at the GDRZ Studio-5 with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra.
