Stardom Cinderella Tournament 2019
The was the fifth annual professional wrestling single-elimination tournament promoted by World Wonder Ring Stardom in Tokyo, Japan. The event took place on April 29, 2019. Storylines The show featured fourteen Cinderella Tournament matches and a dark match with scripted storylines, where wrestlers portray villains, heroes, or less distinguishable characters in the scripted events that built tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches. The matches can be won by pinfall, submission or elimination over the top rope. A time-limit draw or a double elimination means a loss for each competitor. Event The preshow included a dark match in which Hanan and Saya Iida defeated Hina and Leo Onozaki, and Rina and Ruaka in a three-way tag team match. The Cinderella Tournament had one draw between Kagetsu and Nakano who went into the 10-minute time limit which handed Arisa Hoshiki a walkover victory straight to the semi-finals. World Wonder Ring Stardom
World Wonder Ring Stardom (スターダム 女子プロレス), often referred to simply as Stardom (stylized as ST★RDOM), is a Japanese '' joshi puroresu'' or women's professional wrestling promotion based in Tokyo, Japan. Stardom was founded in September 2010 by former All Japan Women co-producer Rossy Ogawa, retired professional wrestler and mixed martial artist Fuka Kakimoto, and All Japan Women veteran professional wrestler Nanae Takahashi. Stardom is currently owned by Japanese card game company Bushiroad, making it the sister promotion of New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). Stardom quickly became one of the top ''joshi puroresu'' promotions, largely thanks to gravure idol Yuzuki Aikawa becoming the promotion's public face. AZM, shortened from is a Japanese professional wrestler, currently signed to the Japanese professional wrestling promotion World Wonder Ring Stardom. (often stylized in capital letters such as STARS) is a professional wrestling stable, currently performing in the Japanese professional wrestling promotion World Wonder Ring Stardom. Lead by Mayu Iwatani, the stable currently consists of Saya Iida/Super Strong Stardom Machine, Hanan, Koguma, Hazuki and Momo Kohgo. Arisa Hoshiki
(born October 13, 1995) is a Japanese singer, songwriter, retired professional wrestler, and former shoot boxer. In professional wrestling, she worked in the World Wonder Ring Stardom promotion, where she was Wonder of Stardom Champion, the promotion's secondary title. She vacated the championship on May 20, 2020, after she retired due to injury. Since 2018, Hoshiki had performed in the band Unlimited Dream Navigator, under the name Udon Sato (うどん佐藤), as part of which she performed her wrestling theme song. The band disbanded in 2021. The is a women's professional wrestling championship owned by the World Wonder Ring Stardom promotion. The title, which in Stardom's championship hierarchy is situated as the secondary title behind the World of Stardom Championship, was introduced on June 26, 2011, and the inaugural champion was crowned on July 24, 2011, when Yuzuki Aikawa defeated Yoshiko in a decision match. Title history The title is often referred to simply as the "White Belt", a name famously used by All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling (AJW) to refer to its All Pacific Championship.
