Almost all comics published prior to 2015 have been rebranded as non-canon with the designation ''Star Wars expanded to other media, Legends''. BBY stands for years before the Battle of Yavin, which occurred during the Star Wars (film), original ''Star Wars'' film. ABY stands for years after the Battle of Yavin.
