Star Search 2007
Star Search 2007 is the 9th installment of ''Star Search''. It marked the return of the talent-search program. From May 2007, Star Search 2007 travelled to China, Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore in its search for new talents. Auditions Eager to be the next big thing, 1,500 people flocked to the auditions. Talent cuts across geographical boundaries and, as such, there is no restriction on the number to be shortlisted for each region. The numbers are broken down this way: Format Two contestants will be removed from the talent quest each week, with no chance of a revival. There will be four weeks of preliminary rounds, two weeks of quarter finals; one week of semi-final and grand final each. Andie Chen
Andie Chen () is a Singaporean actor, host and vlogger. He was prominently a full-time Mediacorp artist from 2007 to 2017 but continues to film on an ad hoc basis. Career Chen's first appearance on television was in the Channel 5 series '' Growing Up'' Season 2 Ep 12: Brother Of Mine in which he made a cameo flashback appearance as a child version of Tay Wee Seng, older brother of Lim Kay Tong's character Charlie Tay Wee Kiat's older brother and was credited as Andy Tan in year 1997. Zheng Geping
Edmund Tay Kok Peng (born 27 May 1964), also known as Zheng Geping, is a Singaporean actor and executive producer managed under The Celebrity Agency. He works on the Chinese-language Channel 8. Career Zheng, a former chef and Taekwondo instructor, became a full-time actor in 1987 after completing SBC's 7th Professional Drama Performers' Training Course, and had been given mostly supporting roles. His hard work finally paid off at the Star Awards 2007 ceremony when he won the Best Actor award for his role in ''Like Father, Like Daughter''. Priscelia Chan
Priscelia Chan Shih Mei, also known as Zeng Shimei, is a Singaporean television actress and host. Career Chan was a tax auditor before taking part in Star Search Singapore 1999. Despite being eliminated in the semifinals, she was offered a contract by TCS (later MediaCorp). She was initially cast in supporting roles in several Chinese-language television dramas produced by MediaCorp Channel 8, and made her debut as a lead actress in ''In Pursuit of Peace'' (2001) and ''Heartlanders III'' (2003). She acted in the mainland Chinese supernatural-fantasy television series ''The Legend and the Hero'' (2007). The series was aired on Channel 8 in 2009. Pan Lingling
Phua Leng Leng (born 25 June 1970), better known as Pan Lingling, is a Singaporean actress. Career Pan entered the entertainment industry in 1988 after graduating from the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation's 8th Drama Artiste Training Course. Ng Hui
Ng Hui (, born 22 July 1979) is a Singaporean former actress and television host. She was prominently a full-time Mediacorp artiste from 2000 to 2012. Biography Ng attended Jin Shan Primary School, Raffles Girls' Secondary School and Hwa Chong Junior College and graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with a degree in Communication Studies. Adam Chen
Adam Chen (born 24 June 1976) is a Singaporean television and film actor. Early life Chen was educated at The Chinese High School and Hwa Chong Junior College. Quan Yi Fong
Quan Yi Fong (, born 1 March 1974) is a Taiwanese-born Singaporean host and actress, who has since taken up Singaporean citizenship and given up her Taiwanese citizenship. Dennis Chew Chong Kheng (born 15 August 1973), also known as Zhou Chongqing, is a Singaporean radio deejay, actor, variety show host and singer.
