Joseph Patrick O'Brien
Joseph Patrick O'Brien (born 23 May 1993) is an Irish horse racing trainer and former flat racing jockey. He is the son of trainer Aidan O'Brien. In 2012 he rode Camelot to win the 2,000 Guineas, the 2012 Epsom Derby and the Irish Derby. Riding career O'Brien won a bronze medal at the 2009 European Pony Championships and was one of three jockeys who shared the Irish champion apprentice jockeys' title in 2010. He rode his first winner on Johann Zoffany, trained by his father, at Leopardstown Racecourse on 28 May 2009 and gained his first classic success when Roderic O'Connor won the 2011 Irish 2,000 Guineas. Shane Crosse (born 21 September 2001) is an Irish jockey who competes in flat racing. Background Crosse comes from Cahir in County Tipperary in Ireland. His father Matt Crosse is a former jump jockey and brother Nathan Crosse is a flat-racing jockey. Crosse took part in pony racing and became an apprentice jockey at the yard of trainer Joseph O'Brien while he was still at school. Career Crosse rode his first winner on 13 April 2018 when steering G Force to victory for trainer Adrian Keatley in a handicap at Naas. That season he was crowned Irish champion apprentice jockey. Jessica Harrington
Jessica Jane Harrington (née Fowler, born 12 February 1947) is an Irish professional horse trainer. Harrington specialises in National Hunt racing but has also had success in Flat racing. Personal life Harrington was born in London. Her father was Brigadier Bryan Fowler, an officer in the British Army, and her mother was Mary Walford. Bryan Fowler was originally from Kells, County Meath and served with the Royal Artillery in both World Wars, and married Mary, who was a widow, in 1944. She had two children from her previous marriage. Harrington had an older brother, John Fowler, who was also a racehorse trainer and died in an accident in 2008 at their family estate in Summerhill, County Meath. Bryan Fowler left the army in 1949 and returned with his family to Ireland where Harrington spent her childhood. She did not go to school until she was aged twelve, being tutored. Donnacha O'Brien
Donnacha O'Brien (born 22 July 1998) is an Irish racehorse trainer and former jockey who competed in Flat racing. O'Brien is the son of multiple champion trainer Aidan O'Brien and brother of jockey and trainer Joseph O'Brien. Donnacha O'Brien rode his first winner on Quartz, trained by his father, at Dundalk Stadium in September 2014, and gained his first Group 1 victory when he rode Intricately to win the 2016 Moyglare Stud Stakes. Patrick Joseph Smullen (22 May 1977 – 15 September 2020), was an Irish jockey who won the Irish flat racing Champion Jockey title nine times. In a career running from 1992 to 2018 he rode 1,845 winners in Ireland and 47 in Britain. Amongst his biggest successes were riding Harzand (horse), Harzand to victories in the Epsom Derby and Irish Derby in 2016. He was stable jockey to Dermot Weld from 1999 until 2018. Emmet McNamara (born 9 January 1990) is an Irish jockey who competes in Flat racing. He gained his most notable success to date when riding Serpentine to victory in the 2020 Epsom Derby. It was McNamara's first ride in the race and provided trainer Aidan O'Brien with a record eighth Derby win. Background McNamara grew up in County Limerick and comes from a racing background.
