Stanoje Glavaš
Stanoje Stamatović ( sr-cyr, Станоје Стаматовић), known as Stanoje Glavaš (Станоје Главаш; 21 February 1763 – 15 February 1815) was a Serbian hajduk and hero in the First Serbian Uprising. Life Glavaš was born in 1763 in the village of Glibovac, near Smederevska Palanka, at the time part of the Sanjak of Smederevo, Ottoman Empire. In his youth, he was a gentleman's tailor in Smederevska Palanka. He never married, which was unusual for small town business owners of the time in Serbia. For a time, he shared a house with a certain other confirmed bachelor, originally from Negotin, one Borisav Petrović, and they had a joint enterprise for constructing adobe houses. During this time Karađorđe Petrović spent several months in Glavaš's house, either as an apprentice or as a hajduk in hiding during wintertime. Stanoje Jocić
Stanoje Jocić (Serbian Cyrillic: Станоје Јоцић; born 5 June 1932) was a Serbian football player and a Yugoslav international. Born in Skopje in present-day North Macedonia, Jocić came to football relatively late, joining Belgrade-based's BSK youth academy in 1948, at the age of 16. He had his professional debut in the 1952 season, in which he was Yugoslav league's top goalscorer with 13 goals in 13 appearances for BSK. He left BSK in 1954 and went on to have a three-season spell with cross-city rivals FK Partizan, for whom he scored 16 goals in 43 league appearances, before returning to his original club in 1957 (which had been renamed in the meantime OFK Belgrade). He spent two more seasons with OFK, including the 1958–59 season which the club spent in the Yugoslav Second League, before retiring in 1959. Stanoje Stanojević ( sr-Cyrl, Станоје Станојевић; 1874 in Novi Sad – 1937 in Belgrade) was a Serbian historian, university professor, academic and a leader of many scientific and publishing enterprises. Career Stanojević finished university studies in Belgrade's Grandes écoles and post-graduate studies in philosophy in Vienna, where he received his PhD in 1896. He was a student of Konstantin Jireček, Vatroslav Jagić and Karl Krumbacher, and a follower of Ilarion Ruvarac and his school of historiography. Stanojević belongs to the first generation of Serbian historians educated abroad, at European universities. In 1903, he became a professor of the Grande école (University of Belgrade), his ''alma mater''. During Austro-Hungarian occupation of Serbia in World War I, Stanojević escaped to Sankt Petersburg, where he taught at the university as a visiting professor.
