Stanislav Sucharda
Stanislav Sucharda (12 November 1866 in Nová Paka – 5 May 1916 in Prague-Bubeneč), Czech sculptor and professor at the Prague School of Applied Arts from 1899, and a leading figure in the Mánes Union of Fine Arts (S.U.V. Mánes), founded in 1887.
His work can be seen at the František Palacký Monument in the New Town, Prague, and architectural sculpture on several Art Nouveau buildings for Czech architects Osvald Polívka and Jan Kotěra, notably Polívka's New City Hall (Prague), New City Hall in Prague. He also designed a monument to Czech composer Karel Bendl which stands in Bubeneč, in the northwest sections of Prague.

Vojtěch Sucharda
Vojtěch Sucharda (6 January 1884, in Nová Paka – 31 October 1968, in Prague) was a Czech sculptor, woodcarver and puppeteer. Life Sucharda was born into an artistic family as the son of sculptor Antonín Sucharda, Jr. (1843–1911). He was the brother of sculptor Stanislav Sucharda (1866–1916), artist Anna Boudová Suchardová (1870–1940), sculptor and puppeteer Bohuslav Sucharda (1878–1927) and painter Miroslava Suchardová (1889–1965). Career In 1913 Sucharda was invited to collaborate on plastics for the Koruna Palace at the Wenceslas Square. He made his possibly most important work, three monumental figures of soldiers, and the ornamental crown on the top. Sucharda was the founder of Prague's ''Říše Loutek'' Theatre ("Puppet Empire") in 1920, where all the Sucharda family had worked for almost forty years. Vyšehrad Cemetery
Vyšehrad ( Czech for "upper castle") is a historic fort in Prague, Czech Republic, just over 3 km southeast of Prague Castle, on the east bank of the Vltava River. It was probably built in the 10th century. Inside the fort are the Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul and the Vyšehrad Cemetery, containing the remains of many famous Czechs, such as Antonín Dvořák, Bedřich Smetana, Karel Čapek, and Alphonse Mucha. It also contains Prague's oldest Rotunda of St. Martin, from the 11th century. History Local legend holds that Vyšehrad was the location of the first settlement which later became Prague, though thus far this claim remains unsubstantiated.
