Standard Club
The Standard Club is a private country club, founded as the Concordia Association in 1867. Originally located in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, the club is now located in the northern suburb of Johns Creek, Georgia, Johns Creek. History The club started as the Concordia Association, a social club for American Jews, Jews of History of the Jews in Germany, German descent in 1867 in Downtown Atlanta. Their premises, the 1892 Concordia Hall, are still standing in the Hotel Row historic district. In 1905 it was reorganized as the Standard Club and moved into the former mansion of William C. Sanders on the east side of Washington Street, between Fair Street (now Memorial Drive) and Woodward Avenue. The neighborhood, Washington-Rawson, became the heart of the Jewish community until the 1920s. Atlanta–Fulton County Stadium
Atlanta–Fulton County Stadium, often referred to as Fulton County Stadium and originally named Atlanta Stadium, was a multi-purpose stadium in the southeastern United States, located in Atlanta. The stadium was home of the Atlanta Braves of the Major League Baseball and the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. It was built to attract an MLB team and in 1966 succeeded when the Milwaukee Braves relocated from Wisconsin. The Braves and expansion Falcons shared the venue for 26 years, until the Falcons moved into the newly completed Georgia Dome in 1992. Ponce de Leon Avenue ( ), often simply called Ponce, provides a link between Atlanta, Decatur, Clarkston, and Stone Mountain, Georgia.
