Stan Rowlands
Alfred Stanley Rowlands (born 12 November 1889) was a football player. He was a forward for Tranmere Rovers and scored 32 goals for Tranmere during the 1913–14 season, helping them to with the Lancashire Combination. In the same season, on 16 March 1914, Rowlands represented Wales in their 2–0 defeat to England; this was the first time a Tranmere player had played for their national team. Bausley With Criggion
Bausley with Criggion is a community in Montgomeryshire, Powys, Wales, from Cardiff and from London. The Bausley and Criggion Community Council dates back to at least 1761. Villages within the community include Criggion, Crewgreen and Coedway. In 2011 the population of Bausley with Criggion was 706 with 7.8% of them able to speak Welsh. In terms of Welsh identity, the community had the lowest percentage in the whole of Powys. The Criggion Radio Station is located in this community, a transmitter latterly operated by BT on behalf of the UK Ministry of Defence. The Church of St Michael and All Angels, Criggion, is a Grade II* listed building. The Bausley with Criggion Community Council has eight locally elected councillors who represent the community's opinions and interests. Ilfracombe ( ) is a seaside resort and civil parish on the North Devon coast, England, with a small harbour surrounded by cliffs. The Lancashire Combination was a football league founded in the North West of England in 1891–92. It absorbed the Lancashire League in 1903. Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them. Barnstaple Town F
Barnstaple ( or ) is a river-port town in North Devon, England, at the River Taw's lowest crossing point before the Bristol Channel. From the 14th century, it was licensed to export wool and won great wealth. Later it imported Irish wool, but its harbour silted up and other trades developed such as shipbuilding, foundries and sawmills. A Victorian market building survives, with a high glass and timber roof on iron columns. The parish population was 24,033 at the 2011 census, and that of the built-up area 32,411 in 2018. The town area with nearby settlements such as Bishop's Tawton, Fremington and Landkey, had a 2020 population of 46,619.
